Gore Creative was founded in 2005 as a small graphic design and web development consulting firm.

Behind the Curtain

Founder and principal Jessica Gore is not ashamed of labeling herself a geek. She considers herself an ambidextrous thinker capable of exercising both left brain objectivity and right brain subjectivity. Logical and intuitive, rational and holistic, she combines her passion for art and technology in every aspect of her work.

Jessica graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in English specializing in Technical Writing in 1998. Early in her career, she realized that she enjoyed designing the software manuals she created more than actually writing them. She then shifted focus to pursue a career in graphic and website design in 1999. Over the years, Jessica took graphic design courses through the UC Berkeley Extension program and taught herself all things web—from purely hand-coded, standards compliant XHTML and CSS to PHP and MySQL web application development. A lifelong learner, there’s no challenge that Jessica won’t face head on.

Jessica plays an active role in the San Francisco Bay Area design community and currently serves on the board of the San Francisco chapter of AIGA the professional association for design.

Good work takes time.

With every project we take the time to discuss, analyze, formulate and execute solutions with care. As a small firm, we can only work on a limited number of full-scale projects at any given time. If you’re interested in working with us, please check our availability.
